Circus Delights

Who doesn't enjoy a visit to the Circus every now and then? I love the atmosphere, drama and laughs all rolled into one. Only thing I have never been over fond of are the Clowns, sorry to those of you out there who like them, but they are a little sinister for me.

Anyway, for SPA this week I chose to adapt my Stampotique stamp and turn her into a highwire artiste. I altered her legs to look like she is balancing on a wire, and cut two skirts and bows out and layered them together (although this photo does not show that too well). I coloured her with pens and then added stickles for a bit of bling on her outfit. The background I created using pen and adding a water wash over the top to bleed the colours, drew on the highwire and added brads at each end. I then added my artiste and stamped the title. I hope you like it!

Okay...I don't even really know you that well yet, but can I just say that I LOVE YOUR STUFF!!!??? :)

As soon as I saw your card today it reminded me of my visit with friends to see Cirque du Soleil last year- WOW!! talk about leaving feeling inspired!...and you have done that for me today!...does the stamp that you used come from a website or a local store near you??

And BTW...I have tagged you!...check out my blog post today for the details...it will be BIG FUN getting to know you better Sally- I am glad that you chose to join the SBS #24 group... you will truly be an asset to the group! :)
