Transparent Art

This is a book I made at a class hosted by Julie of Scrapbook Sisters, and it just so happens to meet the theme set by Wednesday Stamper. The book is made up of mainly images on transparencies, those images being created in many ways including stamping, printing onto acetate, and drawing.

I have uploaded just a few of the pages, there were too many to post all at one time! The front cover comprises two different stamps and some hand drawing:

The flowers were stamped onto a second page, with dragonflies stamped separately on acetate, cut out, coloured and applied:
The circle frame was cut out of cardstock and the acetate stamped with a gorgeous background stamp in Buttercream Stazon:
The page to the right of this image shows the one behind it, creating a layered look:
This is the same page without the next one behind it, It is stamped with a rufled flower and stickles added to give dimension:

Printed onto acetate:

The page to the right is made up of small images stamped and printed and then stuck together using glossy accents:

This is the same page without the next one behind it:

I hope you like it!

What a beautiful book! A lot of work has gone into that! Very impressive! I have just bought my first acrylic album and I am looking forward to trying out working on clear pages for the first time. You've given me plenty of inspiration here!
