... to a full on British thunderstorm!! Having been away in Paris in heat of 32 degrees, I really did have to return to the great British weather and unload from Eurostar to a thunderstorm - fork lightening, sheet rain and crashes of thunder that sound like rocks falling on your head!
One highlight of the trip was a visit to the Eiffel Tower at night. I was aware that they lit the tower at night, ever since the Millenium firework display there, but was not quite expecting the light show I got:
